11 arrested in a multi-million rand drug bust on a Swartruggens farm
Police say a number of those arrested are suspected to be Mexican nationals.
Eleven people have been arrested during a drug bust on a farm in Swartruggens in the North West.
Police say a number of them are suspected to be Mexican nationals.
They have set up an elaborate drug operation on a property that seems to operate as a game farm.
The owner of the property was not on site when police pounced.
A multi-disciplinary police team is still conducting investigations on the scene.
Police say drugs amounting to at least 100 million rand were found at the property.
