*Two of BET’s best known drama series are set to return this summer, with one of them approaching its conclusion.
Paramount+ announced that “All the Queen’s Men” will begin its fifth and final season on June 10, while “Ruthless” is scheduled to return for season 6 on June 30, Deadline reports. Both shows will open their new seasons with two episodes before moving into weekly releases. “All the Queen’s Men” will continue through a July 22 midseason finale, while “Ruthless” will pause its run on August 25.
The final chapter of “All the Queen’s Men” places major pressure on the empire built around Eden after violence leaves the club’s future uncertain. Eva Marcille returns as Madam as tensions spread throughout the business and new threats begin emerging during the search for the person responsible for last season’s shocking shooting.
As instability grows inside Eden, divisions among those connected to Madam continue creating new problems. The series also features Skyh Alvester Black, Candace Maxwell, Raquel Palmer, Michael “Bolo” Bolwaire, Keith Swift Jr., Dion Rome, Jeremy “Masterpiece” Williams, Cee “Carter the Body” Carter, and O’shea Russell.
Tyler Perry and Christian Keyes remain executive producers on the series alongside a producing team that includes Elon D. Johnson, Angi Bones, Tony L. Strickland, Will Areu, Tommy Watt, and supervising producer Valencia Parker.
Meanwhile, season 6 of “Ruthless” returns viewers to the Rakudushis compound, where growing distrust and shifting alliances continue changing the group’s internal structure. Melissa L. Williams reprises her role as Ruth, whose increasing influence over The Highest becomes a central part of the season’s conflict as federal scrutiny surrounding the cult intensifies.
Matt Cedeno, Baadja-Lyne Odums, Blue Kimble, Colin McCalla, Michelle Núñez, Nadége August, and Joshua Adeyeye are also part of the returning cast. Tyler Perry executive produces the drama, while Courtney Glaudé serves as writer, director, and supervising producer.
