By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize Defence Force soldier accused of stealing thousands of dollars in clothing and an Apple MacBook has received full disclosure in her case and is set to stand trial in November.
Marilou Elizabeth Aldana, 35, appeared unrepresented before Senior Magistrate Mannin Dennison in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Friday afternoon, where she was provided with 12 pages of disclosure.
Aldana is accused of stealing assorted clothing valued at $4,000 and an Apple MacBook valued at $600, for a total value of $4,600.
The alleged theft is said to have occurred on June 26, 2026.
Aldana was first arraigned on June 29 and was granted bail in the sum of $2,500.
She remains out on bail and is due back in court on November 13, 2026, when her trial is scheduled to begin.
