The finale of the Brixton Chamber Orchestra’s four events will see an exploration of neo-classical music in the unique setting of the Brixton Recreation Centre 3G football pitch.
Their 30 piece orchestra will feature work by three of the 20th Century’s most significant figures of orchestral music.
- Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite
- Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony
- Poulenc’s Sinfonietta
The evening will include background notes from BCO conductor Matthew O’Keeffe.
The live rehearsal for this concert is also open to members of the public to attend at the venue between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on 21 March. Booking is not required to attend the rehearsal.
Please not that audience entry for this event will be via the side ramp leading to the 3G football pitch, accessed from Brixton Station Road.
