*Courtney A. Kemp’s latest career move signals a new phase of expansion at Apple TV, where she has signed a multiyear overall deal to create and develop original series exclusively for the platform.
According to Deadline, her production company, End of Episode, will lead the creative output under the agreement, while Apple TV will have a first-look opportunity on any film projects she develops.
“I’m so grateful to Zack [Van Amburg], Jamie [Erlicht] and Matt [Cherniss] for welcoming me to the Apple family,” Kemp said in a statement. “With their impeccable taste and strong support for their creators’ visions, Apple is the perfect place to develop my next projects. I couldn’t be more thrilled to bring my audience to Apple for more hard-hitting, high-stakes, multilayered stories that uplift the culture, yet reach beyond to universal viewership.”

Kemp’s track record across television has positioned her as one of the most recognizable voices in character-driven crime storytelling. She is the creator behind the widely successful “Power Universe,” a franchise that continues to grow with new installments, including “Power: Origins,” which is currently in production in New York.
Before this Apple partnership, Kemp worked under a multiyear overall deal with Netflix that began in 2021. That agreement expanded her focus on developing stories centered on women, BIPOC, and the gay community, and ultimately led to the creation of the crime drama “Nemesis.”
“Nemesis” has become a major streaming success. The series is currently ranked No. 1 in the United States and across 15 other countries on Netflix.
The Apple TV deal positions Kemp to expand her storytelling footprint even further while continuing to build on her established franchises and streaming projects.
