Strum reopens
Strum Brewing Co. in downtown Ontario has reopened following a brief closure for repairs.
The brewery has several events lined up for this week, including a philosophy discussion and open mic night on Thursday, Feb. 26, a trio of musical acts on Friday, Feb. 27 and deaf-friendly night with live music at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Strum is at 315 N. Euclid Ave.
The old switcheroo
We were anticipating sandwich shop Sourdough & Co. coming to 525 E. Hospitality Lane in south San Bernardino, but it appears that’s not happening.
The building is home to Super Cuts and the soon-to-open San Fernando Coffee Co., but the other suite under construction — a former Five Guys — appears to be a different restaurant than Sourdough & Co.
An Alcoholic Beverage Control notice posted at the location indicates the new restaurant will be Ramen Sushi Maru.
Another Pliny sighting
For those who missed the recent pourings of Russian River Brewing Company’s Pliny the Younger, you’ve got another chance.
The Cheese & Wine Shoppe at Tom’s Farms in Corona is hosting a Russian River tap takeover all weekend — Friday, Feb. 27 to Sunday, March 1.
Pliny the Younger will be tapped at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27.
The shop will offer 10-ounce pours while supplies last.
Tom’s Farms is at 23900 Temescal Canyon Road.
