Brixton to mobilise for massive Together Alliance march against the far right, Saturday 14th March 2026

Lambeth’s locals are coming together in Windrush Square this Saturday to get the word out about the Together Alliance unity march on 28th March, with music, banners, children’s face painting and thousands of flyers.

The rally aims to bring a real atmosphere to the heart of the borough, carrying messages of love, hope and unity against the racism, hate and division of the far right – whose alarming rise saw the biggest fascist-led march in British history last September, while Reform UK climbs in the polls with plans for mass deportations inspired by ICE raids in the United States.

Over 300 organisations, including trade unions, campaigning groups, charities and faith groups, along with hundreds of celebrities are now backing the 28th March unity march through central London, with more than 120 coaches booked from across Britain. Organisers believe the march can be the game changer that breathes confidence into multicultural communities and shows that the majority will not be silent.

With a Home Secretary attacking refugee rights and an unpopular Labour Government actively promoting anti-migrant narratives rather than countering them, organisers say the need to mobilise has never been more urgent – and they want thousands from Lambeth to be part of it.

Micki Loebner, one of the rally organisers, said: “Bring friends, family, workmates, school and uni friends, members of your union branch, faith community or organisation – and banners are welcome.”
