Latoya Washington, a Michigan mother, is facing a manslaughter charge after authorities allege she failed to give her 4-year-old son prescribed seizure medication, ultimately leading to the child’s death. Latoya Washington, 37, was charged on June 23 with manslaughter in connection with her son’s death. According to Click On Detroit, prosecutors allege the child died as a result of a “grossly negligent failure to provide necessary medical care.”
