I Love Jamaica” Campaign Unites Global Caribbean Communities Through Music and Solidarity.

The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport has officially launched the “I Love Jamaica” Concert Series, set to take place both virtually and across the diaspora. The announcement comes alongside a range of UK Caribbean music and media events in support of Jamaica’s recovery efforts.

Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange revealed plans for a pivotal virtual fundraising concert on Sunday 16th November 2025, designed to bolster the island’s recovery from Hurricane Melissa. The event forms part of the wider I Love Jamaica Concert Series campaign, which will stream nationally and internationally from the studios of the Caribbean Public Television Corporation (CPTC), blending music and philanthropy for a shared cause. The Ministry is also finalising arrangements for additional concerts in New York, Toronto, and South Florida.

Headlined by Jamaican reggae and dancehall stars Christopher Martin, Masicka, and Nigy Boy, the concert aims to raise at least US $1 million to support relief efforts across the severely affected western and central regions of Jamaica. Minister Grange emphasised that Jamaica’s rich musical heritage, grounded in Reggae, Roots, and Dancehall, continues to serve as a powerful source of hope and unity in times of crisis.

The virtual format allows supporters across the diaspora to engage directly, donate, and uplift the national spirit — all to the anthem of reggae that unites the Caribbean community.

A London concert, hosted by comedian Kane Brown, has also been announced for 12th November at KOKO Camden.
