Julian Horton, better known to many as J12 and recognized for his role as Roy on Beauty in Black, is making major noise in the music industry as a record producer and executive. Expanding his presence beyond television, J12 recently introduced his label, TMO, and its roster of artists during an exclusive private listening session at the legendary Patchwerk Recording Studios in Atlanta.
Sponsored by Belaire, the event brought together industry tastemakers, media, and supporters for an early look at what’s next for the growing label. The evening also served as the official announcement of the upcoming release of TMO artist Yn Tally’s newest single, “Perfect Timing,” set to drop this Friday on all streaming platforms.
While many know J12 from the screen, the listening session showcased another side of his artistry. Guests were able to experience not only his vision as a producer and label executive, but also hear him as an artist, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to developing authentic talent.
