Kwa Nokeng targets BSE listing as fuel market reshapes
Kwa Nokeng Oil Holdings is preparing to list on the Botswana Stock Exchange on November 10, potentially becoming the second fuel marketing company on the bourse after Engen Botswana.
The company plans to list 2.8 billion shares at P1 each, implying a market value of P2.8 billion. Existing shareholders Clinton Jansen Van Vuuren and South Africa’s Chroma Capital will sell 49 percent of the company for up to P1.372 billion, with most of the shares going through a P1.322 billion institutional placement. Just P50 million has been set aside for public investors, while Kwa Nokeng will receive none of the proceeds.
