WASHINGTON (AURN News) — Meta temporarily suspended a Latino outreach Instagram page for Angie Nixon, Florida’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, one week before Election Day.

Nixon says her Latinos Con Angie page disappeared Tuesday night while her campaign was posting live from a get-out-the-vote rally in Osceola County, home to a large Puerto Rican community.

Instagram’s notice said the account violated its rules on account integrity but provided no further details. Meta hasn’t publicly explained why.

The page came back an hour later. A St. Pete Polls survey released Wednesday showed Nixon trailing Republican Sen. Ashley Moody 49% to 45%, underscoring the stakes of voter outreach.

It isn’t the first complaint. Meta also temporarily suspended the No Kings Coalition’s Instagram account this month, which the company said happened in error. In Brazil, an electoral court ordered Meta to treat both presidential candidates equally after President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s campaign accused it of suppressing his content. Meta said it complied with the order.

The question voters should be asking is: Who decides what you see before you vote?
