The Met Police have announced that two men have been charged in connection with a murder that took place in Clapham on the 8th September 2025.
Police were called at 20:50hrs on 8 September 2025 at 20:50hrs to reports of a shooting in New Park Road.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated 27-year-old Kyrone Moodie, before taking him to hospital, where he sadly died the next day. A 20-year-old man was also injured.
Kyrone’s family continue to be supported by specialist officers.
On Wednesday, 22 April, police arrested a 20-year-old man at an address in Lambeth on suspicion of murder. A 31-year-old man was detained yesterday, Thursday, 23 April, on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Two men were charged on Thursday, 23 April in connection with the investigation, which is being led by homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
Moureik Ebanks, 20 (01.02.06), of Saints Close, Lambeth, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
Rushaune Davis, 31 (15.05.94), of Brixton Road, Lambeth, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Both men remain in custody and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, 24 April 2027.
