NEC’s ‘unbeaten’ streak at risk as they face BUL at Fufa Technical Centre

NEC’s sixteen premier league matches unbeaten status is on the line away to BUL.

The two face off at the Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Tuesday in the game of the day.

Heading into the game, BUL are winless against NEC in all competitions [L2, D7] but will draw inspiration from their last outing which saw them end a four-match winless run by beating Express FC at Nakivubo last week.

Badru Kaddu’s men are unbeaten since the 2-1 loss to KCCA on December 12 last year and have kept nine consecutive clean sheets.

They will still miss forward Richard Basangwa who got concussed in the draw with the Red Eagles but Samuel Ssekamatte, Innocent Media and Muhamad Ssenoga have the ability to unlock the usually compact BUL backline.

BUL, in 8^th position with 34 points want to remain in control of their top eight ambitions while NEC, 5^th with 42 points want to move closer to top four.

On the same day, Express travel to Mbarara City while Maroons make a short trip to Hamz stadium, Nakivubo where URA is lurking.
