Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis — Nevis has emerged victorious at the 2026 Inter-Island Primary School Athletic Championships, delivering an outstanding performance to secure the top position in this year’s competition.
The Nevis team showcased exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the meet, finishing with an impressive medal tally of 19 gold, 14 silver, and 10 bronze medals. Their performance outpaced St. Kitts, which recorded 15 gold, 20 silver, and 16 bronze medals in a closely contested championship.
The annual event brought together the Federation’s top young athletes, highlighting the strength and depth of primary school athletics in both St. Kitts and Nevis. Spectators were treated to thrilling races, field events, and displays of discipline and teamwork from the student-athletes.
