A petition has been launched to stop the Arch Company evicting Club Silly and the Bureau Of Silly Ideas from their base in Valentia Place, Brixton.
The petition text says:
SAVE OUR SILLY PETITION
We the undersigned object to planning application 26/00491/FUL.
The Arch Company has applied to demolish Club Silly and remove Bureau Of Silly Ideas (BOSI) from its Arches, describing them as derelict. They are not!
BOSI, an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, has been leasing them since 2002
Lambeth’s own published strategy commits to protecting cultural spaces like these.
We call on Lambeth Council to refuse this application!
