RICHMOND RCMP are investigating a reported kidnapping that occurred on Friday, April 24 at approximately 10:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Bamboo Grove Restaurant situated at 6920 No. 3 Road.
Police were called after a witness reported seeing a man possibly being forced into a pickup truck by two males shortly after leaving a nearby business. Officers attended the area and reviewed surveillance footage, which suggests the vehicle involved may have been a dark coloured Ford F 150.
Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the file. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or who may have dash cam or security video from the area around that time, to contact Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212 and quote file number 2026-12635.
