In the scene, Xander the Shark confronts The Deep (Chace Crawford):
“Shut the fuck up. We know you were responsible for the pipeline genocide. Remember March 15, motherfucker!”
When The Deep tries to plead his case, Xander doubles down with a threat that makes the entire ocean feel like a danger zone:
“If you step one foot, one fucking stupid-ass simian toe in the water, anywhere, an ocean, a stream, a fucking puddle, oh, God, son, you’re dead… Water is fucking off-limits to you. You are dead to us. Bitches!”
Showrunner Eric Kripke has a knack for pulling in heavy hitters for unexpected roles (we still haven’t forgotten Charlize Theron as Stormfront in the Dawn of the Seven movie-within-a-movie). Landing Jackson, however, feels like a new peak for the series.
Jackson’s performance as Xander isn’t just a quick one-liner; it’s a scene-stealing moment that balances the show’s trademark gore with a level of gravitas that only an Academy Award-winning veteran can bring.
