The Long-Awaited Andaz Turks and Caicos Resort Is Now Taking Reservations for a June 2027 Debut

The long-awaited Andaz Turks and Caicos now has an opening date, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The residential resort, which has been in development for years, is planning its debut on June 1, 2027, according to parent company Hyatt Hotels

The Grace Bay-area resort will have a mix of 59 hotel rooms and another 73 residences, the latest in a growing pipeline of residential resorts in Turks and Caicos.

What about the room experience?

Beyond traditional guest rooms there will be some cool options like residential units with their own pools and bi-level presidentia suite, among others.

Dining concept swill range from a bistro-style eatery called Tamara to a grab-and-go market called Palmette, the latter what Hyatt calls “part bodega and part neighborhood cafe.”

That’s along with a poolside bar and restaurant called Baie.

And yes, on an island filled with great spas, there will be a wellness center called Runa, too.

It will be the only Andaz in the Caribbean — Hyatt did have one for some time in the Mexican Caribbean’s Mayakoba development, although that property shuttered last year to make way for what is now a resort under a new brand called Alila.

It’s been a long road for the project, which was first announced back in 2018 — meaning it will have been nearly a decade in development when it welcomes its first guests next year.

The Andaz’ announcement in that year actually helped usher in what has been an unrivaled residential-resort boom in Turks nd Caicos, one that has shown no signs of slowing down, with even more properties on the way, from The Loren to a St. Regis to the new Kempinski.

So what about prices at the Andaz (yes, you can actually make bookings now).

I found rates of $1,297 per night next June for World of Hyatt members, and about $1,323 per night for advance purchases. That gets you a one-king room. For an ocean-view room, the rate goes up to $1,436 and $1,465 per night, respectively.
