Rising Afro Hip-hop artist Tiwizzy is set to release his highly anticipated EP Ungrateful African Youth on 22 May 2026, a bold and deeply personal project that speaks directly to the struggles, identity, and emotional conflict of a generation navigating tradition, expectation, and self-discovery.
Rooted in lived experience, the EP explores the tension many young Africans face when their personal ambitions clash with established family expectations. It reflects on how survival-driven parenting, shaped by fear, tradition, and sacrifice, often leads to rigid paths for children—where deviation is misunderstood as rebellion or disrespect.
At its core, Ungrateful African Youth challenges that perception. After a strategic one-year hiatus in New York dedicated to artistic refinement, Tiwizzy returns with a more focused and mature sound—an evolved fusion of Afrobeats energy and introspective lyricism. Known as the “East Foreign Boy,” he now positions himself as a rising force ready to take his Afro Hip-hop sound from the underground to a global audience.
