Tonight brings another round, this time developing mainly over the south.

A small craft caution is in effect. Gusty winds and locally rough seas are expected near heavy showers and thunderstorms, so anyone heading out on the water should take care. Seas are running a light chop with waves of 2 to 4 feet and easterly winds at 10 to 15 knots.

Temperatures are slightly cooler than recent days, reaching 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 88 on the coast and 80 in the hills.

Out in the Atlantic, forecasters are watching a low pressure area south southwest of the Cabo Verde islands that is likely to become a tropical depression in the next day or two. It poses no threat to Belize.

Thursday stays partly cloudy with showers mostly in the south.
