Trump’s $1.776 Billion IRS “Deal” Is Payment To Weaponize His Jan. 6 MAGA Mob Militia
By Colin Benjamin Photos: Wikimedia Commons Donald Trump’s $1.776 billion “agreement,” with the Internal Revenue Service, that he controls, is a brazen attempt to rob the American people and put money in the pockets of MAGA terrorists, who attacked police officers, while trying to overthrow the U.S. government on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump is also clearly mocking us with this $1.776 billion figure, a not so subtle reference to the year 1776, when the American Colonists declared independence from Britain. When Republicans refused to vote for impeachment conviction against Trump they showed us this: party power is the only thing they truly care about. So, most of these power-hungry cowardly Republicans, some of whom were cowering, in Congress, while the Jan. 6 coup attempt was unfolding, will endorse Trump’s looting of America’s Treasury, while mouthing more bogus bullshit to the American public. Trump is also clearly mocking us with this $1.776 billion figure, a not so subtle reference to the year 1776, when the American Colonists declared independence from Britain.
Why is the supposed party of “law and order” largely silent on this? Will Republicans in Congress go along with the monetary rewarding of criminals who attacked–and caused the deaths of–police on Jan. 6? Are Republicans that drunk with power, and, or, terrified of Trump?
Republican politicians, and their right-wing activist judges, on the not so Supreme Court are the main people responsible for Trump’s presidential lawlessness. Here is why.
On Jan. 6, 2021, Donald Trump incited his MAGA mob to “fight like hell” to restore him to power, after he lost the 2020 Presidential Election, to Joe Biden. Even more treasonous, Trump did absolutely nothing in the hours when his white cult marauders went rampaging through Capitol Hill–even as many (including Republicans) placed frantic calls to the White House begging him to intercede to stop the violence. Remember how these maniacs were shouting “hang Mike Pence” after they had erected gallows on the grounds of Congress?
This momentous MAGA attack on Congress led to Trump’s Second Impeachment trial. But the GOP Party, which claims it upholds the “rule of law,” voted to acquit America’s first convict president after this felonious desecration in Washington D.C.
If Republicans really believed in their posturing rhetoric about “putting country before party” why didn’t they vote to convict this bum, as LeBron James, rightly, once referred to Trump? Was there ever any better time for Republicans to prove to us they really believe in “country before party” than convicting this criminal president for inciting Jan. 6? Which other president, in U.S. history, tried to use his followers to overthrow the U.S. government, besides Trump?
When Republicans refused to vote for impeachment conviction against Trump they showed us this: party power is the only thing they truly care about. So, most of these power-hungry cowardly Republicans, some of whom were cowering, in Congress, while the Jan. 6 coup attempt was unfolding, will endorse Trump’s looting of America’s Treasury, while mouthing more bogus bullshit to the American public.

However, let us also save some of our rage for the conservative-controlled Supreme Court of Chief Justice John Roberts. Because, SCOTUS has, and still is, aiding-and-abetting Trump’s currently unfettered criminality.
Black America is now grappling with what we must do after Chief Justice Roberts, and his other Republican Supreme Court Klan Justices, further gutted the 1965 Voting Rights Act. These black robed white supremacists, along with Black butt-kisser, Clarence Thomas, are doing everything to help the Republican Party “win” elections by suppressing the self-determination and power of Black American votes.
But in the Presidential Immunity case, of 2024, these corrupt Court charlatans basically decided that a president could commit crimes–once he frames those crimes as being perpetrated within the purview of the American Presidency. Is it any wonder then Trump has no problem committing cold-blooded murder executing fisherman in the Caribbean? And if murder, by presidential decree, is perfectly fine, including by Trump’s ICE and Border Patrol goons, what’s to stop him from stealing money from the American taxpayer?
We should keep the dire economic circumstances Americans are facing now in mind here.
Think of it, many Americans just had a miserable Memorial Day Weekend, particularly, since exploding punishing gas prices made many curtail travel plans. Because of Trump’s tariffs, America’s economy was struggling even before he was bamboozled by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into starting this disastrous war with Iran, perhaps, due to compromising blackmailing information related to suspected spy and sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
But, recently when a White House reporter asked Trump whether Americans’ financial struggles were motivating him to make a deal with Iran to stop the war, Trump’s response was, “Not even a little bit.” Trump further added “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody. I think about one thing — we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That’s all.”
And while Americans are in dire straits Trump’s priorities are burning money to build a ballroom for billionaires, at the White House; and constructing a reflecting pool, Weren’t we told white America elected Trump because the Democratic Party abandoned the white working-class?
Let’s be clear about something here: Donald Trump doesn’t give a flying fuck about anyone but himself, much less average Americans, even if you are white. Yes, he uses racism. But he does so for his personal benefit. Do these crackers understand this?
Robbing America’s Treasury, to give money to his MAGA mobsters, is not an altruistic act of loyalty. What Trump is doing is paying protection money.
Trump clearly intends to use this IRS bribe money to hire these Jan. 6 white nationalist terrorists as his private MAGA militia army. This should be soberly considered by every American. Otherwise, we will witness atrocities worse that Jan. 6.
Trump wants to retain these “very fine” violent Americans racists as a trump card to use when, and if, more Americans rise up against him–or, for that day when American justice may decide it is time for him to wear not orange makeup but orange prison stripes.
The relevant question now is: will America survive Trump?
