By Zoila Palma: The countdown is on for the Belize Beef Fest & Rodeo 2026, with just two days remaining before the highly anticipated event takes place on Saturday, August 15, at the National Agriculture & Trade Showgrounds in Belmopan.
The event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a full day of food, entertainment, livestock showcases, rodeo action and family-friendly activities.
Visitors can look forward to rodeo performances, livestock exhibitions, grilling competitions, food, drinks and entertainment, while vendors will showcase agricultural products, equipment, crafts, services and other goods.
One of the major attractions will be the grilling competition, where participants will compete for increased cash prizes and bragging rights.
The top grill master will take home $1,000, while second place will receive $500 and third place $250. Registration costs $100 per category, and interested competitors can register by calling 672-5275.
Admission to the Belize Beef Fest & Rodeo is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
