Bicar charged in fatal Micoud stabbing

A thirty-five-year-old man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Micoud last week.

Jeremy Bicar was remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility on Wednesday, after appearing before the Second District Court accused of the murder of 44-year-old Lensley Samuel.

Samuel died after sustaining stab wounds in an incident along Duke Street, Micoud on April 30.

In a statement issued today, police said Bicar was arrested the same day of the incident. 

A post-mortem examination conducted on Tuesday, May 5 confirmed that Samuel died as a result of stab wounds to the chest.

Later that day, following the examination, Bicar was formally charged with murder.
