Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis — The Bring It Swim Team delivered an outstanding performance at the Blue Marlin Spring Swim Fest, held in St. Kitts last weekend, securing an impressive second-place finish overall.
Competing with only eleven swimmers—the smallest squad at the meet—the team demonstrated exceptional determination, skill, and teamwork while going up against clubs with significantly larger rosters.
Despite the numbers, Bring It Swim Club produced remarkable results, finishing the competition with an impressive medal haul of 27 gold, 23 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Each swimmer contributed valuable points, racing with focus, discipline, and heart throughout the competition.
Representing Bring It Swim Club were Austin Williams, Abhijith Srinivasan, Edith Denne, Akimba Cornelius, Filippa Denne, Teadrian Tross, Zara Guy, Kawhi Hendrickson, William “Liam” Guy, Donovan Liburd, and Matthew Stewart.
The team’s success was guided by Coach James Weekes and Coach Annelise Leibbrandt, whose dedication, structure, and belief in their athletes continue to drive the club forward.
Bring It Swim Club emphasized that the performance reflects the team’s core values of hard work, resilience, and unity.
“This is what Bring It stands for,” the club noted.
The strong showing at the Blue Marlin Spring Swim Fest further solidifies Bring It Swim Club’s growing reputation as a force in regional swimming.
