The city of St. Louis will recognize municipal employees during its inaugural Excellence in Public Service Awards ceremony at 6 p.m. Oct. 8 in the City Hall Rotunda.
Awards will recognize employees in areas including frontline and emergency work, public service, innovation and early-career achievement. Personnel Director Brian Light said the annual program is intended to recognize the city’s more than 3,000 civil servants. Finalists will be announced later this month.
