I’m all for people respectfully using vacant and unused premises, there’s so many and they do all end up looking like tin cans with the metal cladding. It’s fine if you’re going to put the property to use but if not you are just going out of your way to put people on the streets and that feels cruel to me. You can see by the clutter on the streets that these are peoples everythings they have to shift. Even matresses! There’s a giant teddy too. I think it takes some gumption to be homeless and to acquire shelter from an unused property. For them it’s their home, for the owner it’s an investment risk. Sucks that the power is held by those with money.
