On June 17, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, Minister of Defense, Retirees, and Children of Martyrs’ Affairs, delivered a written message from His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, to his brother, the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, during a meeting held in his honor in the Burkinabe capital, Ouagadougou.
The Minister conveyed to the President of Burkina Faso the fraternal greetings and sentiments of esteem from His Excellency the President of the Republic, along with his sincere wishes for peace, stability, prosperity, and continued progress for the brotherly people of Burkina Faso.
The meeting provided an opportunity to commend the excellent relations of friendship, cooperation, and solidarity that unite the two brotherly countries, and to emphasize their shared commitment to strengthening exchanges and consultation on issues of common interest, particularly those related to security, sovereignty, regional integration, and development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister stated that His Excellency the President of Burkina Faso had asked him to convey his fraternal greetings to his brother, His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, together with his sincerest wishes for success and full achievement in carrying out his high responsibilities in the service of the brotherly Mauritanian people.
In closing, the Minister expressed his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to the Burkinabe authorities for their warm welcome and generous fraternal hospitality, as well as for the attention and care extended to him throughout his visit.
