Uganda Premier League side KCCA are in talks with quick-footed forward Denis Omedi.
As the Kasasiro Boys look forward to improving their squad, Omedi is one of the names that have popped up to get more scoring options.
Reports from Rwanda indicate that Omedi is one of the players who will be released as the team kick starts plans ahead of the upcoming season.
Despite attracting suitors across the region and Saudi Arabia, KCCA have joined the race for the Uganda Cranes forward.
At KCCA is Brian Ssenyondo who worked with Omedi at Kitara. The two had an amazing time at the Hoima-based side thus taking the team to the continental stage.
Omedi is capable of bringing pace, energy, brilliant movement and ability to head the ball. At KCCA, he can gladly improve the team’s attack.
KCCA finished second in the league and finished at the quarterfinals stage in the Uganda Cup as they concluded a trophyless campaign.
