Double Murder in San Pedro – David Harmouch and Security Guard murdered, a third person critically injured at newly reopened Island Supermarket

By Jose Luis Cruz: Three (3) persons were shot earlier tonight at Island Supermarket in the Tres Cocos area of San Pedro Town. Two (2) of the shooting victims have died and a third is reported to be critically injured.

The murdered victims have been identified as Daniel Jones, the supermarket’s security guard, and David Harmouch, a well known individual in San Pedro who hails from a family of businessmen.

A third person who was in the supermarket was also shot but the name of injured victim has not been made available as yet.

Police responded to the shooting report and are conducting investigations into the triple shooting/double murder.

On December 14th, 2025, just three (3) days after a grand opening, Island Supermarket was broken into, and the assailants set the business establishment on fire and destroying the shop’s stock. The owner, Ahmad Harmouch, committed to loyal customers that the business would be refurbished and be back “stronger than before”. Just seven (7) days after reopening on June 22nd, Island Supermarket is again targeted, this time resulting in the tragic death of two (2) persons, and a third clinging to life.
