The waterfront Ocean’s Edge Resort & Marina on Stock Island is converting into the new Hilton Key West Resort & Marina, with reservations open now for stays this summer.
There’s a major new resort coming to the Florida Keys.
Hilton has signed a deal to convert the waterfront Ocean’s Edge Resort & Marina into the new Hilton Key West Resort & Marina, a 175-room property on Stock Island at the eastern edge of Key West. The resort is already taking reservations for stays beginning July 1, 2026.
The hotel is owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors and will be managed by Hilton, part of a growing push by the company in the Keys.
Every one of the resort’s rooms and suites comes with a private, furnished balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the marina or the property’s tropical grounds, with 86 suites among the 175 keys. The accommodations range from spacious suites to king and double rooms built for solo travelers, couples and families alike.
On the culinary side, the resort will be home to Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen, an island-inspired restaurant with waterfront views, along with Ocean’s Edge Café, a grab-and-go spot serving Cuban-inspired coffee, smoothies and breakfast. There’s also poolside service and in-room dining.
For the active set, the resort has a fully equipped fitness center and multiple saltwater pools, along with paddleboarding, kayaking, bicycling, yoga classes, poolside movies and lawn games.
Then there’s the water itself. The resort’s location puts guests within easy reach of the region’s marine and wildlife encounters, excursions through the Florida Keys and trips toward the Everglades. Boaters get access to the property’s award-winning full-service marina, while a complimentary shuttle connects guests to downtown Key West and its dining, nightlife and culture.
The resort will also have flexible event space, including a 570-square-foot boardroom and a 1,140-square-foot outdoor patio.
As part of the transition into the Hilton portfolio, the property is set to undergo a series of enhancements while keeping the laid-back character of its Stock Island setting, according to the company. Guests will also be able to tap into the Hilton Honors loyalty program.
“Hilton Key West Resort & Marina represents an exciting addition to Hilton’s renowned portfolio in the Florida Keys, a destination where travelers come to unplug and embrace the spirit of the island lifestyle,” said Leonard Gooz, global brand leader at Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
It’s the first major Hilton foray in the Keys since it opened the Baker’s Cay resort in 2019, a property that is one of our top picks in Key Largo.
Prices start at around $287 in July if you’re a Hilton Honors member. That rate covers a partial-ocean-view king room. For an ocean view, we found rates of about $381 per night.
