The financial magazine’s rankings track players’ earnings over the past 12 months, including club salaries, bonuses, endorsements, licensing deals, appearance fees, and other business ventures.
Forbes estimates Ronaldo earned a total of $300 million, making him the top earner among all players competing at this year’s tournament.
The 41-year-old forward reportedly received $235 million from his club, Al-Nassr, while an additional $65 million came from endorsements and other off-field income streams.
The recognition comes as Ronaldo competes in a record sixth World Cup, a milestone that is expected to mark his final appearance on football’s biggest stage.
