Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club has beaten Kitara to the treasured signature of forward Charles Lwanga.
Lwanga joins the 1963 founded club as a free agent from rivals Sports Club Villa.
The hitman had been convinced by Kitara and was due to sign the employment agreement on Friday before KCCA intensified the chase.
Christened as “Neymar”, Lwanga only makes a return to KCCA having previously played at the Kasasiro lads in the 2020-2023 season.
He joins midfielder Elvis Ngonde who also joined from the Jogoos as a free agent.
