During the third and final day of the African Open Government Seats, held under the theme “Towards an Open Africa”, discussions were led by Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni. The session brought together high-level representatives focused on advancing transparency, digital governance, and public sector transformation across the African continent.
A key highlight of the day was the signing of a Statement of Intent between Morocco and Ghana. The agreement was signed with Mrs. Akanvariva Lydia Lamisi, marking a strengthened commitment between the two countries to deepen cooperation in digital transformation and administrative modernisation.
The declaration reflects a shared ambition to enhance collaboration in areas such as digitalisation, open government, artificial intelligence, data governance, and emerging technologies. Both countries also expressed their intent to improve public service delivery while advancing digital inclusion and reducing territorial disparities in access to government services.
