A Saint Lucian audio production company is celebrating a decade of work in the global music industry, marking the milestone with a major achievement highlighting its international reach.
The Air Born Academy commemorated its 10th anniversary on April 30, 2026, coinciding with the global observance of International Jazz Day. The company, founded in 2016, has grown from a local initiative into a recognized production and engineering operation serving international clients.
As part of the anniversary, Chief Executive Officer Cory Carson Raggie announced that the company has received a 100 million streams plaque, reflecting the cumulative global listenership of projects produced through the studio.

“Reaching the ten-year mark is a significant moment of reflection,” Raggie said. “The goal has always been to elevate the standard of audio production in the Caribbean, whether through recording, mixing, or complex sound design for film.”
Raggie added that the milestone represents more than just numbers, pointing to the broader impact of the company’s work on the global stage. “Seeing that work resonate with over 100 million listeners worldwide validates the dedication we put into every session,” he said.
The Air Born Academy has built its reputation through work in music production, recording, mixing and sound design, while also expanding into film-related audio services. Its portfolio includes collaborations with international artists as well as support for emerging Saint Lucian talent.
The company is also currently engaged in new creative ventures, including a forthcoming sound-focused documentary titled “Decibel Debt,” which examines the impact of noise pollution on public health.
Industry observers note that the studio’s growth reflects a broader shift within the Caribbean’s creative economy, where locally based producers are increasingly contributing to global music and media outputs.
As it enters its second decade, The Air Born Academy says it intends to continue developing talent, expanding its technical capabilities, and strengthening its role within Saint Lucia’s creative industries.
