Gambian winger Bakary Jammeh has travelled to Sweden for a two-week trial with Swedish club Kalmar FF, his club BST Galaxy FC announced.
Jammeh left The Gambia on Saturday and is expected to spend the next two weeks training with Kalmar FF and undergoing assessment by the club’s technical team.
The trial will provide the young winger with an opportunity to showcase his abilities and gain experience in the Swedish football environment.
The opportunity was facilitated by Modoustic Sports PR, which has been involved in creating pathways for young Gambian footballers to pursue opportunities abroad.
For BST Galaxy FC, Jammeh’s trial represents another step in the development of one of its promising young players.
The club has wished Jammeh success during his trial as he seeks to impress the Kalmar FF technical team.
