Now, Collins is hitting the road on his nationwide brand tour and coming in-store and speaking to perfume lovers and get a chance to speak to Collins and get meet the man behind the brand. His nationwide has begun in New York with two Sephora stops: Harlem on July 11th and Union Square on July 12th.
“I like to meet people, take pictures and shake hands with people and tell the story personally.” said Collins during his visit to the Harlem Sephora, which is also his home store being a resident in Harlem.

“Harlem is a must!” he said.” I always do three stores in New York to introduce the fragrances to the customers. Every year after I do a launch, I do a small tour of the Sephora stores, so I can be in-stores and meet customers and introduced the fragrances” he said
“I am going to Union Square and next Roosevelt Fields Mall. After that, I am heading to Philadelphia to the Fashion District Mall and next L.A. These are some of the store me and the Sephora team think that are good to visit”

During his visit, to the Sephora in Harlem, he stopped and greeted shoppers and received feedback from customers favorites and the new launch in the World of Chris Collins the sweet and tropical, Sunset in Tamarindo. He took a moment to speak on his inspiration on the bottles and the nose behind the scent.”

“The inspiration to launch the brand was for my interest in prohibition 1920s Harlem and the speakeasy. When I was creating the bottle, I wanted the bottle to look like a flask because back in the 1920s during prohibition, they would sneak alcohol in flasks to prevent having it out in the open. This is my way of hiding the scent inside a flask.” said Collins. “The rose gold detail is purposeful and the color of Venus and the color of love.
Collins has a great eye for detail with his background that stems back over 20 years. He started out as a model for Ralph Lauren in the mid-90s and became a brand ambassador for over two decades. He was introduced to fragrance by famed French perfumer Killan Hennessey after leaving Ralph Lauren. He became an apprentice under Hennessy and mentor Collins on creating his own collection.

Looking ahead, Collins has many ambitious goals for growing his brand. “When I launched the brand, the goal was always to build a lifestyle brand,” he said. “I am happy working with fine fragrance, but we are launching candles this year.” He hinted on plans to expand into body care, home fragrance, and accessories. Currently, the brand has introduced a new rose gold rollerball traveler set and a Best Seller Fragrance Sampler Set. On Saturday, July 18, Collins will be at the Sephora in Philadelphia’s Fashion District from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Customers who visit and spend over $75 on any Chris Collins product will receive a complimentary gift and the opportunity to have their bottle signed by Collins himself.
During the interview, Collins was asked what was his favorite fragrance in his line. “My favorite is always the next one!”
