The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Disciplinary Panel has awarded Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club three points and three goals after the failure of Mbale Heroes to turn up for the FUFA Big League duel at the Al Madina Stadium in Kabale.
The panel found Mbale Heroes Football Club in breach of Rule 23 (4) and (5) of the FUFA Competitions Rules and Article 16 (3) of the FUFA Disciplinary Code.
“The reasons advanced by the club were found to be unsubstantiated,” the FUFA Disciplinary panel ruled.
The three points and goals for Kigezi Home Boyz are a big boost as the final bend of the 2025/26 FUFA Big League season comes knocking.
Kigezi Home Boyz now has 45 points, three better than second-placed Blacks Power.
Ntugasaze and Paidha Black Angels have 40 points apiece.
Kigezi Home Boyz face Onduparaka at the AbaBet Green Light Stadium on Sunday, 26th April 2026.
Three clubs will be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, and four clubs will be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
