In the series finale of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Erica Banks breaks down as those close to her have concerns about her relationship. Here are the highlights for “Means To An Ending.”
Scrappy and Bambi are taking these slow.
Karlie Redd heads to jail to bail out Erica Banks. She and her boo, Dro, were arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. Interestingly, Karlie runs into 24hrs when she gets there. It turns out that he and Salma were recently arrested as well. Salma came to help him after he was pulled over and the cops discovered there was a warrant out for Salma for a failure to appear in court for a past traffic violation.
Bambi and Scrappy meet Joc at one of his rehearsals for an upcoming performance. He is going to perform with a live band. When Joc asks Bambi and Scrappy if they are on track to reconcile romantically, they tell him they are just taking things slow. And they are happy to finally be in a place where they get along, and there is no toxicity.
Yandy is done.
Mendeecees and Yandy meet to talk after their last meeting went left. In a green screen interview, Yandy says she doesn’t understand what Mendeecees wants to talk about. She has nothing left to say.
Mendeecees tells Yandy he feels bad about how the last conversation went. He doesn’t understand how they got where they are, nor does he understand how people who love each other can hurt each other. This brings Yandy to tears. In a confessional, she says that things could have been different if Mendeecees had just said this sooner.
Erica Banks has her father worried.
Karlie picks up Erica Banks and Dro from jail. They proclaim their innocence and claim they had no idea a rental car they booked from a private company was stolen. Police found drugs inside the rental car, so Erica and Dro are in some serious trouble. Despite this, Erica and Dro don’t seem to be taking this seriously.
Karlie tells Erica that she spoke to her dad, and he’s coming to Atlanta because he’s worried about her.
Jessica lost her baby.
Bambi and Jessica White attend church together. In a green screen interview, Bambi says she invited Jessica to come because she just suffered a miscarriage. Bambi knows what it feels like and figured getting closer to God during this time is what Jessica needs.
Although Jessica is devastated, she is confident that she will become a mother soon, and this situation has made her fearless.
Is Dro a bad influence?
Erica Banks talks to her father about her recent arrest. He thinks Dro has been a bad influence on her and suggests she take a break from the relationship to get her life in order. When he mentions that Karlie said Erica wanted to stay in jail if Dro was unable to get a bond, this angers Erica. After she says Karlie had no right to tell him this, Erica’s dad reminds her that Karlie bailed her out.
In a confessional, Erica breaks down in tears and claims Dro isn’t the bad person people paint her out to be.
The cooking class Lil Zane’s mom wanted everyone to attend goes left after Zane’s ex Michelle arrives. This sets off Ashley, and she accuses Lil Zane and his family of being messy for inviting Michelle. In a confessional, Zane admits he knew Michelle was coming and he didn’t tell Ashley. But he doesn’t think this counts as a setup.
Ashley is over it.
Sierra serves Zae divorce papers. He tears them up and tries to kiss her. She tells him she is giving him the divorce he asked for.
In the series wrap-up, Scrappy says he is happy about where he is currently with Bambi, and they will continue to take things slow. Sierra is moving forward and is excited to be a single woman again. Rasheeda is optimistic about the future after getting through the storm with her family.
