By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Rural Transformation has expanded its water relief efforts by completing the installation and filling of high-capacity water tanks in several villages across the Toledo District.
Potable water was delivered to the communities of Jalacte, Palo Grande, Santa Elena, and Santa Cruz as part of ongoing measures to address water shortages during the peak dry season.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring residents have continued access to clean and safe drinking water.
The Ministry also announced that teams are scheduled to be in Bullet Tree Village in the Cayo District today and tomorrow to distribute water to residents facing similar dry-season challenges.
