Two key defendants in the federal kidnapping case involving rapper Gucci Mane have entered not-guilty pleas as their attorneys push back against the government’s allegations.

Pooh Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., and Memphis rapper Big30 are contesting the charges tied to the alleged January 2026 ambush at a Dallas recording studio. They are among nine defendants accused of orchestrating an armed kidnapping and robbery that targeted Gucci Mane and two other victims.

According to Action News 5, the group includes Pooh Shiesty, Williams Sr., Big30, Kedarius Waters, Terrance Rodgers, Damarian Gipson, Demarcus Glover, Kordae Johnson and Darrion McDaniel. Prosecutors allege Pooh Shiesty forced Gucci Mane to sign a contract release at gunpoint, while Big30 allegedly blocked the exits. Rolex watches, jewelry, Louis Vuitton bags and cash were said to have been taken during the attack.

Williams Sr. initially posted a $250,000 bond, but a judge issued a stay as prosecutors fight to keep him detained until trial.

With the not-guilty pleas entered, both sides appear headed toward a lengthy legal battle. Each defendant faces up to life in prison if convicted.
