The Teacher: S3 – Monday 30th March – Thursday 2nd April @9pm | Channel 5

Helen Simpson, a seasoned but flawed drama teacher, leads at Cheetham Hall, clashing with progressive students and colleague Sebastian Blake over her uncompromising methods. Living on campus with her son Sam, who faces online bullying, Helen becomes entangled tensions with influential student Cressida Bancroft and vulnerable non-binary pupil Dee Rainford-Thomas. After a heated detention, Dee leaves distressed; the next day, an incident places Helen under scrutiny while Cressida’s motives loom.

The Trials of Pa Salieu – Wednesday 1st April @10pm | BBC Three

Documentary following the British-Gambian musician as he attempts to rebuild his life and career after prison, returning to live performance while still on probation, navigating curfews, travel restrictions and the risk of recall. He makes his comeback at the Glastonbury Festival, but touring in Europe hangs in the balance, and he faces a choice between breaking commitments and risking a return to prison.
