Concentrix Expands Egypt Operations With Five New Centers and 11,000 Jobs

Concentrix Egypt  has announced plans to significantly expand its operations in the country, aiming to create around 11,000 new jobs and establish five additional service centers across several governorates within the next two years. The expansion is part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in Egypt’s business and contact centre services sector.

The announcement was made during a meeting attended by Engineer Raafat Hindi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, alongside senior officials and Concentrix Egypt leadership. Discussions focused on the company’s growth plans in the Egyptian market, investment expansion, and efforts to enhance cooperation in digital skills development and workforce training.

Minister Raafat Hindi said global companies continue to increase their investments in Egypt, driven by the country’s attractive business environment, strong digital infrastructure, and availability of skilled young talent. He noted that Egypt is positioning itself as a regional hub for outsourcing and digital services exports.

Concentrix Egypt President Amr Sobhi outlined the company’s rapid growth in the country, stating that its workforce has expanded from around 150 employees in 2009 to approximately 24,000 today. He added that Egypt has become the company’s third-largest global operating centre after India and the Philippines, out of operations in 72 countries.

The company plans to further grow its workforce to 28,000 by the end of this year, 31,000 next year, and 35,000 within two years. It also intends to increase its footprint by expanding its current network of 13 centres and adding five new locations, including in Delta and Upper Egypt regions.

Concentrix also highlighted its cooperation with Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Authority (ITIDA), following a memorandum of understanding signed in January 2025. The agreement supports plans to invest around $1 billion in Egypt and contribute to creating 16,000 additional jobs by 2028.

The meeting also explored the company’s use of artificial intelligence in customer service operations and its collaboration with universities and technology institutions to train young professionals. Both sides discussed expanding “training for employment” initiatives to better align workforce skills with market needs, particularly in languages such as German, French, and Spanish.

Concentrix Egypt currently provides multilingual services in 12 languages across sectors including e-commerce, telecommunications, tourism, banking, healthcare, media, and transportation, serving clients across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, and South America.
