A fourth individual has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Givanni Andrew Joseph, better known as “Zuzu,” as police continue to advance investigations into one of the capital’s most closely watched homicide cases.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) announced on Friday that 21-year-old Germaine Ishonn Joseph has been formally charged with murder following his arrest during a joint police operation at Wilton’s Yard, Castries.
According to police, Givanni Andrew Joseph was gunned down on February 21, 2026, at The Gulf in Ciceron, Castries, in a shooting that sent shockwaves through the community.
Investigators say Germaine Ishonn Joseph was arrested on May 28 during a targeted operation and was subsequently charged on June 2. He appeared before the First District Court on June 3 and was remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility until July 14, 2026.
Police revealed that three other individuals had already been charged in relation to the same homicide. They are 23-year-old Sanjay Papius, also known as “Stickman,” 25-year-old Mayim King, alias “Smiley,” and 20-year-old Vonnelle Degazon.
The latest charge marks another significant development in the investigation as authorities continue efforts to bring all those responsible before the courts.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has not disclosed further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the killing, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.
