If you have been waiting for a sign to apply for a business grant, this might be it. Galaxy of Stars, the nonprofit-backed platform that has helped hundreds of thousands of women and minority entrepreneurs access funding and business resources, is currently accepting applications for a $4,250 Galaxy Grant — and the application takes about 30 seconds to complete.
The grant is completely free to apply for and open to entrepreneurs nationwide, whether you are just starting out, already running a business, or still in the planning stages. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2026, and winners are announced the following week.
What Is the Galaxy Grant?
The Galaxy Grant is a recurring small business funding opportunity offered through Galaxy of Stars and its parent nonprofit, Hidden Star 501(c)(3). The program has awarded more than $420,000 in grants to women and minority-owned businesses since 2016, with winners across the country receiving amounts that have ranged from $1,250 to over $23,000.
The current grant cycle is offering $4,250 to one or more selected recipients. Applicants do not need an established business to apply — aspiring entrepreneurs who are still in the idea phase are also eligible. Existing business owners at any stage are encouraged to apply as well.
One additional perk: the program includes a referral benefit. If someone you refer to the grant application wins, you both win.
Who Is Eligible?
According to Galaxy of Stars, the grant is open to women and minority entrepreneurs at all stages of the business journey, including:

● New business owners who have just launched
● Experienced business owners looking for new ways to grow and expand
There are currently more than 16 million women and minority-owned businesses in the United States, and the platform notes that millions more side hustles also qualify. If you fall into any of these categories, Galaxy of Stars wants to hear from you.

The application is available now at galaxyofstars.org/galaxy-grants. You will be asked to provide your name, email, zip code, gender, ethnicity, and business status. The entire process takes approximately 30 seconds.
