Los Angeles-based artist Jenevieve releases her deluxe album CRYSALIS (CODA) today, the completion of her critically acclaimed sophomore project. The deluxe includes her new single “Hvnly,” a remix of “Hvn High” now featuring JIHYO from TWICE. The deluxe also includes recently released “Waiting Room” (feat. Jordan Ward) and “Flight Risqué” (feat. Freddie Gibbs & SALIMATA), alongside collaborations with Tkay Maidza and Lous and The Yakuza.
Jenevieve recently completed a sold-out European leg of The CRYSALIS Tour – Worldwide, where she performed in Paris, London, and Amsterdam. The tour is resuming on May 14th with dates across Asia including stops in Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, and a return to Manila, where she previously shot the visual for “Haiku.” Announced this week, Jenevieve will be closing off the run with her first headline dates in Australia and New Zealand. This past weekend, she collaborated with Kween Patty’s at Complex’s Family Style Food Festival during F1 weekend in Miami.
The CRYSALIS era has marked a breakthrough for Jenevieve. The album earned praise from NPR, Billboard, VIBE, and The FADER, while standout single “Head Over Heels” reached #1 at R&B radio, marking her first chart-topping record, and peaked Top 5 at Adult R&B Airplay. She was named as an On The Verge Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards this year, where she also received a nomination for Best New Artist (R&B). The momentum builds on her earlier success with breakout single “Baby Powder,” which has surpassed 175 million global streams.
