By Breaking Belize News Staff: Thirty-eight-year-old Nichole McDonald has been detained and charged after allegedly crashing out on a doctor, who she felt was taking too long to attend to her at Matron Roberts Clinic. She became violent with the doctor and other patients and was dragged out of the office before being restrained. Notably, just one day earlier she was in court on a separate alleged assault on two police officers while in custody.

Police reports indicate that officers responded to a report of a woman behaving disorderly at the Matron Roberts Polyclinic on Magazine Road in Belize City. Responding officers observed a group of agitated persons gathered in the parking lot. SPU Mobile personnel were also seen escorting McDonald, who was allegedly behaving disorderly.

Initial inquiries revealed that McDonald had visited the clinic to seek medical treatment for an injury under her left foot. However, police say she allegedly became impatient and began assaulting the doctor on call and patients at the institution, to the point that she had to be restrained and police were called. Video footage was retrieved, and McDonald was detained and escorted to the Queen Street Police Station. That matter remains under investigation.

Separately, just one day earlier, McDonal was brought to court on 6 charges related to an alleged assault on two cops.

McDonald was taken to the Precinct Three Police Station on Thursday, June 4, 2026, while detained for common assault. A police sergeant reported that while McDonald was being handed over inside the Executive Duty Officer’s office, she allegedly became boisterous, moved toward him, and punched him to the left side of his face.

The sergeant further reported that as he attempted to defend himself, McDonald allegedly bit him on his left thumb, continued punching him, and used insulting words toward him. Police say a female constable intervened and was also allegedly attacked, sustaining scratches to her hand, while her watch was damaged.

The sergeant was left with swelling to his left eye, an abrasion to his left wrist, a swollen right thumb, and scratches to his neck. Doctors certified his injuries as wounding.

McDonald was arrested and charged for aggravated assault and wounding upon the sergeant. She was further charged for using insulting words, aggravated assault, and damage to property.

McDonald is no stranger to BBN readers. In May, we reported that she was brought back before the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on a reinstated cybercrime charge involving former Commissioner of Police Clyde Chester Williams. That matter stemmed from an alleged March 5, 2025 social media post against Williams. That charge had previously been dismissed in November 2025, but was later reinstated, and McDonald was granted bail of $4,000.

In 2024, BBN also reported that McDonald appeared in court as the cousin and surety of missing man Akeem John Morgan, claiming that police had refused to accept a missing person report after she said she had not seen Morgan since September.
