A new ensemble-led series is set to spotlight the conversations women have when no one else is listening.
Locker Room Talk, created by Grace Link, brings together Chizzy Akudolu, Pearl Mackie, Rhianna Merralls, Grace Link, Kerry Howard and Florence Andrews in an intimate, character-driven project that leans into honesty, vulnerability and humour.
Set entirely inside a women’s changing room following a weekly yoga class, the short-form YouTube series unfolds across a series of candid, unfiltered exchanges. As towels come off and defences drop, the space becomes an unlikely sanctuary, one where women across generations form fleeting yet meaningful connections.
At its core, Locker Room Talk is less about plot and more about perspective. The series interrogates the contradictions of modern womanhood, from body image and self-worth to friendship, identity and the quiet pressures women carry daily. Through humour and emotional honesty, it also examines the societal cycles that shape how women see themselves, and the small but significant moments that help break them.
Produced as an eight-episode short-form series, the project reflects a growing shift toward digital-first storytelling, creating space for nuanced, conversation-led narratives that might not traditionally sit within mainstream formats.
Beyond the screen, Locker Room Talk is also rooted in impact. The series is partnering with women’s health and wellbeing charities The Pachamama Project and BRC Chat, aligning its themes with real-world support systems and conversations. British brand Molton Brown joins as sponsor.
With a cast that spans generations and experiences, and a concept grounded in authenticity, Locker Room Talk positions itself as both a cultural conversation starter and a reflection of the spaces where women are most themselves, unguarded, messy and real.
Locker Room Talk is set to launch in May 2026 on YouTube.
