Nabisunsa Girls Basketball Club has been relegated to the FUBA Division One.
Nabisunsa Girls suffered a 77-70 loss to Miracle Eaglets in the National Basketball League encounter at Abja Park, Nalya.
Nabisunsa came into the game looking for three games in as many games to keep the Basketball League top tier.
However, it was a tough menu knowing they had to take on Miracle Eaglets, JT Lady Jaguars and JKL Lady Dolphins which was a hard nut to crack.
Nabisunsa started on the front foot opening a seven-point (24-17) lead at the end of the opening period.
However, the wheels fell off as the game went on. At the end of the day, Nabisunsa suffered its 16th loss in the 20 games played.
Abigail Mpoza (18 points), Martha Yikuru (16 points) and Ketra Joy Auma (13 points) led Nabisunsa’ scoring chart in double digits.
On the other hand, Winfred Akello was the outstanding player dropping 29 points and pulling down 12 rebounds on the day.
