By Breaking Belize News Staff: Sydney Peyreffitte, the tour guide charged with the murder of Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers, was back before the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Monday for disclosure in the case.
Peyreffitte, who remains unrepresented, appeared before the Chief Magistrate in Court #1, where he was provided with 90 pages of partial disclosure.
The prosecution informed the court that additional disclosure remains outstanding, including photographs and the accompanying statements related to those photographs. Those materials are expected to be ready by Peyreffitte’s next court date.
During the appearance, Peyreffitte asked whether he would be provided with a DVD, saying that police had claimed the fatal shooting was captured on video. The prosecutor told the court that there was no DVD.
Peyreffitte has been on remand since October 2025, after he was arraigned on October 8, 2025, for Flowers’ murder.
Flowers was killed on Monday, October 6, 2025, on Sittee Street in Belize City.
Peyreffitte is due back in Court #1 on July 28, 2026, for the remainder of his disclosure.
